Khayelitsha is soon to be home to a new 4 star luxury boutique hotel. The hotel, which is set to open in Cape Town’s largest township this December, is a first of its kind in a South African township.
Situated just 30km south east of the city centre, just off the N2, Khayelitsha is a vibrant township known for its entrepreneurial spirit and social development projects. This particular project is an investment by prominent local business Bulelani Skaap and his wife Annette.
Bulelani, who is popularly known as ‘Ace Mabheka’ is a trailblazer in the lifestyle and entertainment space and has built an empire that includes Kwa-Ace Lounge, Kwa Ace Kitchen and Kwa – Ace Eparkin which have all become popular tourist attractions for local and international travellers.
With this in mind the couple believes that it is only fitting that they add a luxury hotel offering to the township. The hope is that they will be able to give the international community an experience of the other side of Cape Town and more beyond the City.
“The people of Khayelitsha are friendly and inviting, the area is rich in culture and diversity, and is truly a South African experience that will stay with you forever.”
This boutique style hotel comprises of six executive suites, two family suites and four standard suites all fitted with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, unlimited WIFI, complimentary tea/coffee making facilities, remote control Smart TV, hairdryer and mini-safe, MNet and DSTV.
Guests will also have the added advantage of enjoying room service.
