Happy at home
Home is where the heart is – it doesn’t matter where you eat, as long as it is together. How about a festive Christmas fondue, dripping with delicious, local South African cheeses? Give each guest a small black potjie and a heat-source, then let the festivities begin. Have an all-day family fest around the table with refreshing drinks and amazing food while everyone chats and laughs together.
- Cut bread into festive shapes using a small biscuit cutter.
- Cut pork (bacon, too), beef, chicken, turkey, and lamb into small pieces. Meatballs also work well.
- Cut vegetables into pieces – broccoli and cauliflower, bell peppers, roast potatoes.
As the day goes, everyone makes their own combinations and eats when they are hungry, making wonderful family memories for a lifetime.
Eat, drink and be merry! Enjoy Christmas 2020!
